Sample Itinerary

*Please note that this is a sample itinerary and is subject to change for 2024 based on availability of certain aspects. White House and Pentagon Tours were on pause through 2023, and we are hoping to add these back in for 2024*

Day 1: Sunday, April 21

  • 6:45am: Arrive at Maple Street Recreation Center, check in, load bus
  • 7:00am: Depart Maple Street Recreation Center. Stop occasionally for restroom & stretch breaks.
  • 7:00pm: Dinner at Hard Rock
  • 8:00pm: Sightseeing aboard Private DC Trolley Night Tour
  • ​​​​11:00pm: Check into Hampton Inn in Sterling, VA

Day 2: Monday, April 22

  • 6:30-7:00am: Breakfast at hotel, depart for DC at 7:15am
  • 8:30-10:30am: Arlington National Cemetery w/ Tour Guide
  • 10:45am-12:00pm: Natural History Museum
  • 12:00-12:45pm: Lunch at Food Trucks
  • 12:45-2:00pm: African American History Museum
  • 2:30-4:00pm: Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
  • 4:30-6:00pm: West Potomac Park- FDR and MLK Memorials
  • 6:30-7:30pm: Dinner at Kennedy Center
  • 8:00-10:00pm: Shear Madness

Day 3: Tuesday, April 23

  • 7:00-7:45am: Breakfast at hotel, depart for DC at 8:00am
  • 9:00-10:15am: Korean War Memorial, World War II Memorial,Washington Monument
  • 10:15-11:00am: National Archives
  • 11:00-11:45am: Lunch at Ulysses Grant Memorial fountain
  • 12:00-1:00pm: Capitol Tour
  • 1:00-2:00pm: House and Senate Galleries
  • 2:00-2:30pm: Botanical Gardens
  • 2:30-4:30pm: Holocaust Museum
  • 5:00-6:00pm: Paddle boats at Tidal Basin
  • 6:30-7:30pm: Dinner at Crystal City Sports Pub

Day 4: Wednesday, April 24

  • 8:00-8:30am: Breakfast at hotel, depart for DC at 8:45am
  • 10:00-11:30am: Udvar-Hazy National Air and Space Museum
  • 12:00-1:00pm: Lunch at Pentagon City Mall
  • ​​​​​1:30-3:00pm: DEA Museum Tour
  • 3:30-5:30pm: International Spy Museum
  • 6:30-8:00pm: Dinner near hotel

Day 5: Thursday, April 25

  • 7:00-7:45am: Breakfast at hotel, pack up, load bags onto bus, and depart for DC at 8:00am
  • 8:30-11:00am:  Lincoln and Vietnam War Memorials
  • 11:00am-12:15pm: National American History Museum
  • 12:15-1:00pm: Lunch at Food Trucks
  • 1:15-3:30pm: National Zoo
  • 3:30pm: Depart DC for Vermont (stop for dinner on the way back)

Day 6: Friday, April 26

  • 1:00am: Arrive Maple Street Recreation Center
