Afterschool Site Coordinator

We are seeking two fun and dynamic coordinators for our afterschool programs. One coordinator will oversee the K’s site at Essex Elementary School with 39 kids daily. Another coordinator will serve as either the co- or assistant coordinator at our 91-kid, 3rd-5th grade program at Fleming School. Each will provide oversight, plan daily activities, and supervise staff. During the school day, you will serve as a mainstream teaching assistant at the school, four days a week, from 10a.m.-2p.m. From 2-6p.m., five days a week, you will serve as the coordinator of our Rec Kids afterschool program. Wednesdays from 10a.m.-2p.m. will be office, professional development, and collaboration time. Over the summer, you will serve as a coordinator at one of our summer day camps. This is a unique opportunity to work in a school, take leadership of an afterschool site and summer day camp, and play an active role in providing quality out of school experiences for kids.  Coordinator (or Co-) pay rate is between $22.06 and $23.50 based on experience.  Assistant Coordinator rates are between $20.05 and $21.91.
