As a parent, Washington D.C. is still a vivid school memory. Now it is your child’s turn! This tour is filled with the wonderful sites of our capital in its entire unique splendor. Each day of the tour is planned very carefully to get the most out of every moment. Essex Junction Recreation and Parks is offering current 8th grade students residing in Essex Junction the opportunity to learn and explore our nation’s capital during April break. We believe this will be a great experience for students to see firsthand the sites they have learned about in history class and thoroughly explore our country’s rich history. Registration
Onilne registration will open Wednesday, September 24 at 9AM. Note-we have a new registration software system as of August 2025. If you have not created a new account, you will need to do so prior to registering. If the program is full, please add your self to the waitlist, and you will be automatically enrolled if the opportunity for a second bus arises.

Payment Options:
- Pay in Full
- Pay in 5 equal installments of $195 on the 15th of the month- October-February
- Limited partial scholarships are available, complete and return form to our office by October 10.
