Recreation Council Seeks Answers
Update (1/25/11): Answers to the questions posed by the community have been answered by EJRP and CCSU and were published on December 9, 2010. The answers, as well as the results from the community survey, are available as an online presentation and downloadable report. The Trustees and the Petitioners have not yet provided responses to any of the questions asked of them on November 12. As a result of the survey data, the Recreation Advisory Council voted on December 9th to support the existing school governance model.
The Essex Junction Recreation and Parks (EJRP) Advisory Council has spent the past several months providing and gathering information about the petition proposing governance transfer of EJRP from the School District to the Village. After collecting questions and suggestions from citizens via an online survey, the seven-member Council is seeking answers to important questions that were raised.
