Deb Billado, president of the village trustees, said she thought the process should proceed faster. The board had yet to agree to the Prudential Committee's timeline, Billado said.
"We have not officially agreed to that proposal; we haven't disagreed," Billado said. "I'm sure we will meet with them probably in January and February, but we still think that there's work that could be happening between now and then."
Billado said she would like the trustees and the Prudential Committee to create a joint subcommittee to review the matter, and decide foremost whether to postpone the June 30 expiration date.
