Essex Junction Recreation and Parks

(Co-produced by Essex Junction Recreation and Parks and the Essex High School Red Cross Club)

If you can sing, dance, play an instrument, juggle, do acrobatics or have another special talent, we have the event for you!  EJRP is teaming up with the Essex High School Red Cross Club to host the 3rd Annual Essex Has Talent competition.  So get your friends together and work on your routine.  The winner of the competition will have the opportunity to perform at the July 4^th Fireworks celebration held at Maple Street Park on July 4, 2012.  Each act is limited to 3-5 minutes, including your set-up, performance, and exit from the stage.  Performances may include song, dance, instrumental, comedy, acrobatics, juggling, acting, or other random talents.

Participation categories include:

Junior Grades K-8

Teen Grades 9-12

Adult Ages 18 and over

Family  Adult performing with one or more children under the age of 18.

All entries must be received by Friday, January 13, 2012, to be eligible for the competition.  All entries will be assigned an audition date to compete for a spot in the performance on February 11.  Registrations may be dropped off or mailed to the Essex Junction Recreation and Parks Department at 75 Maple Street, Essex Junction VT 05452.
